The May Family

One of the greatest things about being a photographer, is getting to watch babies grow up. I did Wilson's newborn shoot back in February, and I cannot believe how much he's changed since then!

The Long Family

Macie's pictures were some of the first I ever did. Ever since I started my business, her mom (and my friend), Faith, has been there supporting me ever since. When she asked me to do Caleb's newborn pictures, I was MORE than eager!

Faith, as always, thank you SO much for your support and encouragement.

The Lewis Family

I had SO much fun during this session. The girls were full of energy and so precious.

Zach and I go to church with the Lewis's and David and I are on our church's building team together, but I've never had a chance to spend some good quality time with their family. I say this SO many times, but I love that photography enables me to be able to get to know people better and form relationships.

Thank you guys! I REALLY had a good time!

Cleaning Up...

My hard drive is starting to get really full, causing some problems with my computer, so tonight, I'll be deleting all my shoots through February 31st off my computer. I'll still have all the edited pictures on an external hard drive in case you need pictures in the future. BUT- if you've had a photo shoot in the recent past and are wanting to place an order, try to contact me within the next six hours and I won't delete your session.

Grace: Senior Pictures

Grace is insanely smart, talented, down to earth, and just plain fun to be around. She has such an amazing spirit and energy about her. We had SO much fun doing her senior pictures, laughing and talking. This girl has big things in store for her!

Sneak Peek: Dondeville Family

The World Through Her Eyes

I was sifting through pictures today of Sydney, as we prepare for her visit this weekend. One of Syd's favorite things to do is take pictures with my camera. For the first time today, I noticed this picture she took while we were in Missouri a few weeks ago. I'm a bit of a sap and can be insanely sentimental, but pictures like these touch me SO much, especially while she's gone. It's like, for a minute, I get to be inside her mind.

I LOVE IT. Beautiful picture, Sydney!

The Pecor Family

April has been a very busy month for me, but I'm loving every second of it. I love meeting new families with their own special stories to tell.

The Pecor Family was NO exception.

Thank you guys for allowing me to spend a few minutes inside your home. It's obvious it's filled with love.
















These wooden "LOVE" letters were above their bed, and I couldn't resist playing with them.





Amanda loved the pictures from The Eason family- with the generations of women, so she had her mom and grandmother come over for a few pictures. I LOVED this idea. All three of these women were SO fantastic. I LOVED the colors they chose to wear.







Dad just recently joined the Olive Branch Police Force and wanted some pictures of his new little girl with his police uniform. I LOVED this idea.

The Gish Family

I've had the pleasure of photographing this family three times now. The first time was a maternity shoot a few hours before little Segen was born. I didn't Segen's newborn pictures and now her 6 month pictures. It's amazing to me every time I see how quickly these babies start to grow.

And, of course, it is always nice to see this little man.

The Groves Family

These two boys had me laughing for a solid hour. They were filled with SO much energy and excitement. I enjoyed every second of it.

I LOVE these kids.

This was my second time to photograph this family, but this time with a new addition. For the second time this year, I was amazed at how much these kids love each other. I love it!

The Eason Family

I absolutely ADORED this family. Maybe it was because the mom's name was Elizabeth, or the fact that the mom was super artsy and creative, or maybe because this sweet little baby was SO darn precious! Yep, I think that was it!

The grandparents came for the last 30 minutes of the shoot. I loved how Beth wanted to capture all the generations.

JP: 3 Months

I spent most of my day on Saturday with some of the most precious babies you've ever seen... beginning with Mr. JP.

JP was in from out of town and his Grandma wanted some pictures with the family. He was SO calm and SO sweet.

Thanks, Leigh and Connie. Your family is SO beautiful.











I LOVE this last picture. I'm not sure how Foo Foo felt about having the center of attention stolen away.

Kristen: Just Because

I LOVE a good "JUST BECAUSE" shoot. Kristen contacted me a few months back, saying it had been high school since she had any professional photographs taken and wanted some updated pictures. All week long, the forecast called for severe thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon. Kristen and I talked back and forth throughout the week, trying to come up with a plan in case it stormed.

When I woke up that morning, there was a 70 percent chance of storms. Two hours before our shoot, I checked the forecast again. "0% chance of rain, 100% chance of strong winds." Well, I instantly got excited about the absence of rain and completely ignored the wind part.

When the forecast called for strong winds, they meant STRONG WINDS. At one point, Kristen looked at me and yelled over the harsh wind, "I tried to take a step forward and the wind literally pushed me back." We were blowing all over the place. It was THAT strong.

She was such a good sport. We spent most of the photo shoot laughing at how insane we were for battling the high winds for the shoot. I told her we'd work hard to use the wind to her advantage... and I must say, I think it worked perfectly.

You would never know from these gorgeous pictures what we were up against.

That's the tough life of a great model, right Kristen? Thanks girl! I had a blast!

Sweet Harper: 6 Months

I've been looking forward to this shoot for 6 months now! Lea and I grew up together and SO many significant parts of my life involve her. When Harper was born, I was EAGER to capture them together. These two are SO in love. Lea is such an amazing mom and you can tell Harper knows it. He loves to kiss on her, laugh with her, and love on her.

Lea's mom also came along for the shoot. They are such a sweet family.

Freeman Family

I had SO much fun with this family. This little cutie made me WORK for a smile, and wouldn't give one up easily. By the end of the shoot, she was finally starting to come around. Her mom told me she has NEVER liked having her picture taken.











During the shoot, I got to get a picture of these cousins together. SO sweet.

The Johnson Family

I had SO much fun with this family... especially with this little cutie. Isn't she absolutely adorable??
